Terms of use
These terms govern the free use of the Enviz website and browser extension.
Purpose of the service
Enviz lets users create wishlists, add items, share them and mark a gift as reserved to help prevent duplicates.
Acceptance and age
Using Enviz means accepting these terms. The service is intended for people aged at least 15. Below that age, use requires permission from a person holding parental responsibility.
Account and access
Viewing a shared list and reserving a gift do not require an account. Creating and managing a list require an account protected by an email address and password or Google, Apple or Facebook sign-in when available. You are responsible for keeping your access details confidential and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
Public and private lists
You choose the visibility of each list. A public list can be viewed, shared and indexed. A private list should be sent only to people you want to grant access; keeping its link private is not password protection. Enviz never automatically turns a private list into a public one.
Collaboration
An owner may invite collaborators or readers. A collaborator can add, edit, move and delete gifts; a reader can view and reserve. Only the owner can manage invitations, settings, ownership and deletion. Invitations are personal or shareable according to the owner’s choice, revocable and time-limited.
Items and extension
Information retrieved from a merchant is provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must check the title, price, image, description and link before confirming. The extension may only be used on pages and content you are authorised to access.
Reservations, surprise and delivery
A reservation informs other visitors but is not a purchase, order or guarantee of availability. The owner chooses surprise, discreet or transparent mode. In transparent mode, the guest’s identity is displayed only with their agreement. By default, the buyer orders from the merchant and receives delivery. The owner’s address is shared only when the owner expressly enables that option.
Purchases and merchants
Enviz does not process payments and is not a party to the contract with the merchant. Prices, stock, orders, deliveries, warranties, returns and refunds are exclusively the responsibility of the user and merchant. Information displayed on Enviz does not replace the merchant’s information.
Suggestions, links and affiliation
Enviz measures merchant clicks and suggestion additions to operate and improve the service. Selections are editorial and do not guarantee price, stock or suitability. With the visitor’s agreement, some standard links — including links from items added by the extension — may be converted at click time by the Awin Publisher MasterTag. An eligible purchase may generate a commission for Enviz without changing the price paid. Relevant links are identified as potentially affiliated and remain usable without accepting Awin measurement.
Alternatives and templates
A partner alternative may be shown discreetly when it is genuinely similar to a gift added from a non-partner shop. It never replaces the original link and is not a guaranteed personalised recommendation. List templates are editable examples: every copy becomes private and must be checked and personalised by the user.
Content and conduct
You guarantee that you have the necessary rights to content you add. Publishing unlawful, misleading, dangerous, hateful, counterfeit or malicious content, or content that infringes another person’s rights or privacy, is prohibited. Enviz may remove content or suspend access in cases of abuse, substantiated reports or risk to the service.
Availability and liability
Enviz aims to keep the service accessible and secure but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of third-party data. To the extent permitted by law, Enviz is not liable for purchase decisions, unavailable products, disputes with merchants or a user sharing a list link inappropriately.
Deletion and changes
You can delete your lists and account from your space. Enviz may change the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated appropriately before taking effect when required.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. If a difficulty arises, contact contact@enviz.fr first to seek an amicable solution. Mandatory consumer-protection rules remain applicable where relevant.
